Life and its lessons (20)

Influence;
Messages, people, cinema, media; consciously and unconsciously have an effect on our self-worth, energy and action which in return influence our thinking and behaviors. For the past years, I have tried to be picky in what I consume and watch, though I still have the sense of missing out sometimes. Being picky has introduced me to some powerful information from experts like Dr. Ramani which earlier were drowning and barely visible in my never-ending pool of watch later, read bookmarks and browser tabs. In 2019, some of the resources opened my mind to more knowledge on human behavior, how manipulation works and what Narcissism is. My lesson, I am thankful to learn to pick and choose. I have taken back some of my power on what I put into my mind and system. It pays back to give space to new information, knowledge and people – it’s totally worth it.

Thinking out loud;
Gifts come in different forms. Allhamdullilah, I am very blessed to have beautiful gifts around me and some are special gifts. My gifts have made me more myself, peaceful, love better and dream more. My lesson, I don't know what tomorrow brings, but what I know is I will work towards dreaming and loving a bit more than yesterday. Thank you to all my gifts.

Simple;
Simplicity is pure. If asked, I would always vote for simplicity in – lifestyle, systems, processes and thought. With simplicity you get a clearer mind, can feel more and see better the good in small things. We have complicated our lives making us forget what truly matters. Try sending good morning messages, a hug to a loved one, a small gift, genuine smiles and a glass of juice with stories – hearts will warm. My lesson, living a simple life does not mean you can’t aim high and beyond – it actually helps in having a clearer route towards our journey. Let’s aim for a life that helps us grow individually and as people with having a simple life as the basis of our living.

Note to self;
Always know, there is a way out.

Inspirations;
This posts inspiration comes from Yasmin Mogahed and is one powerful message for those that can relate. “I’ll tell you something amazing that I’ve learnt: Our problems are handpicked for us. Never think they are an oversight of God. Our obstacles are given to us to teach us how to climb. That tidal wave you experienced last week—it was sent because you need to learn to swim. The most difficult people and situations in our life are designed by Allah to teach us something or to develop a quality we need to grow.” Yasmin Mogahed

Until next time Insha’Allah – Cya
